Coated the mating surfaces with graphite.Thanks for the input. i bought my Savage M93r17 in 17 HMR about 2003 or 2004 and it came with a 3-9x40 scope, is one of the non-Accutrigger models and only gave about $260 for it. mine has the Rifle Basix sear and it works great on the rilfe. $250 is way too much IMO as well. $150-175 tops if it's in very good condition..
