2024 Rrecs time standards

Your opinion. Mine is that this is a BETTER system, not perfect but an improvement. I think the joint panel and engineers put lots of effort into studying and measuring our work to develop more accurate time standards and a system was designed to capture data year round without a physical hand count easily manipulated that would also be more responsive to changes in the mix and volume if mail.. I'm actually not a 49 and I'm not sure how it was so wrong, but I'm not a 38 either. If I drive my entire route it's right around 40. So the 11 miles essentially equaled two evaluated hours a week.Here's a fun thought exercise! Standards have a 3.23% buffer built in for "personal time." If you have an 8 hour route, that works out to roughly 15 minutes of personal time a day. However, some standards are impossibly tight even with the personal time added on. If you are going over evaluation because of that then you could file a grievance and get paid for the hours worked over 48 in 5 days.
